The difference between vegetarian and vegan
The difference between vegetarian and vegan is that vegetarians don’t eat any animals, including pigs, chickens, cows, fish, and all others. In addition to not consuming any animal flesh, vegans also don’t consume dairy milk, dairy cheese, eggs, or any other product derived from animals, including honey.

Why do vegans also choose to not eat dairy products and eggs?
Many people think that animals used to produce dairy products like milk, cheese, and eggs are treated humanely. Unfortunately, that’s not true.
The dairy industry is just as cruel as the meat industry. Cows are forced to be impregnated to produce milk, and their newborns are taken away after only a couple of days.
Benefits for the environment
Many studies have already proven that vegans have a significantly lower greenhouse-gas footprint—approximately 60% smaller than meat-eaters.
Saving animals
Every life matters. A vegan diet saves more than 100 animal lives per year.
